Can I get my cat sick by contact with other cats?
My neighbor and friend has a cat that is ill in some way (bumps on the inside ear, sneezing, breathing hard and sometimes fun) and I have three cats and do not want any of them get sick. None of my cats have shown signs except sneezing occasionally and my youngest cat breathed once rare. Can I go whatever my friend's cat has AIDS or cat or any other serious illness my cat cats? my cats have no contact with my neighbor's cat besides me going between them and my dog and cat are always indoors.
Yes, cats have colds and viruses like humans. There is even a "bird Kitty" error. If you are coughing and sneezing I keep their cats at home for a while. But also always be taken careful not to "jock". That is a skin fungus that appears as patches of skin and skin redness. Ringworm is contagious to humans too, so if you notice any patchy red stain in cats and scratching in the area to get a veterinarian as soon as possible
